Akuaba Face Necklace

AKUABA Face Necklace is a simple yet unique piece featuring a long Italian diamond-cut ball chain that captures light at every angle.

Each necklace is hand made with a darken Sterling Silver .925 or solid bronze pendant, shaped into the symbolic Akuaba face. Finished with a unique oxidation process for a mesmerising spectrum from classic silver to deep charcoal or a high polish golden bronze.

Handcrafted by our skilled designer and founder of Sable Noir, every pendant is hand carved using the ancestral lost wax technique. Combined with a unique process of oxidisation, each Akuaba necklace is a  one-of-a-kind, ensuring that your piece is as unique as the Ashanti origins that inspires it.

For generations, the Ashanti tribe has cherished fertility dolls, traditionally handed down from mother to daughter. They believe the doll offer protection and ensure the birth of a beautiful, healthy child. At Sable Noir, we believe the symbolic goes further up and represent abundance, strength and happiness.
